  2. Selection and Matching

DOP’s published donor program is anonymous. Your coordinator relays updates through the donor and fertility center after a candidate is selected.

  3. Medical and Psychological Screening

Your clinic determines the examinations, laboratory testing and psychological evaluation needed for the donor arrangement.

  4. Agreements and Funding

Review agency and donor agreements, compensation, expenses and funding arrangements with independent legal professionals.

  5. Medication and Monitoring

Your clinic explains the stimulation protocol, injectable medication and monitoring schedule. These arrangements are individual to the treatment plan.

  6. Retrieval and Recovery

The clinical team retrieves eggs and provides aftercare instructions. The donor process concludes at retrieval, with recovery and follow-up arranged as advised.

  7. Egg or Embryo Planning

Eggs may be frozen or fertilized according to your clinic’s plan. Discuss any embryo testing, storage and next steps with the medical team.

  8. Transfer Planning

If transfer is planned to an intended mother or surrogate, the clinic determines readiness and timing. Donor selection or retrieval does not guarantee embryos, pregnancy or a birth.
