Plan Your Next Steps

  1. Discuss the Treatment Plan

Your fertility specialist can explain whether donor sperm is needed. Using your own sperm with donor eggs and a surrogate is a separate arrangement.

  2. Choose a Source with Your Clinic

Ask DOP about available coordination and your clinic about accepted sample sources, screening, storage and shipment requirements before selecting samples or paying fees.

  3. Review Donor Information and Consent

Check the provider’s disclosure and identity-release policies. Practical anonymity cannot be guaranteed. Have qualified counsel review consent and parentage questions for the proposed arrangement.

  4. Prepare the Budget

Request separate sample, storage, transport, treatment and legal estimates. The relevant providers set clinical requirements and charges; our coordinator can explain DOP’s role.
